Dr. Montgomery is a Washington State Licensed Psychologist #1389 who has been in private practice for over 28 years in KIng County. He specializes in working with individuals, families and children from 5 years of age and up. Having been a kindergarten through twelfth grade special education teacher and
program coordinator, he is prepared to work with educational institutions and other specialized programs designed for the remediation of both academic and emotional issues. Areas of experience ranged from severe mental retardation to extreme talented and gifted instruction.

Dr. Montgomery also provides therapy on topics of depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, self esteem, parent-child relationships and reconciliation, ADHD, marital enrichment, divorce recovery, neurosis, alcohol and drug abuse. He employs a very common-sense approach in his treatment and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In addition he is a recognized speaker on topics to include family and marriage, parenting, divorce, adoption and the conquering of self esteem issues.

Dr. Montgomery is contracted with most insurance companies and employs a state of the art billing system. All financial related topics at handled by his staff. His caring and attentive demeanor is appreciated by his clientèle. He and his wife Connie have been married for 33 years and live with their dog Lucy and their cat Charlie. They have two adult children. Dr. Dave is a multi-interest guy with an appreciation for living life to it's fullest.


Connie Montgomery M.Ed.

Connie Montgomery has a Bachelors degree in Education and a Master's degree in School Counseling. She has worked in the field of education for over ten years as both an elementary school teacher and a school counselor. In addition, she created and administered a home school program. She has taught parenting classes and provided in service training in writing and ADHD. Being an avid reader and having interests in economics, she consults on topics of business management, finances and family enrichment. She is a contributing writer to articles in this website.

Connie, being a natural numbers person, started a book keeping business 28 years ago while raising her two children. This service provided professional billing help to psychiatric, psychological, and general counseling practices. Connie is also a gourmet cook and has her own cook book in publication focusing on old style home cooked meals.
